Welcome filmmakers! This year’s festival will take place from Oct. 14 – 24, 2009. The Hawaii International Film Festival is always looking for new and exciting films to present to our audiences.

The call for entries for film submissions for the 2010 Hawaii International Film Festival is now CLOSED.

EUROCINEMA HAWAII 2010

All films of European origin are qualified for consideration in EuroCinema Hawaii 2010 -- a "festival within the festival" celebrating the best of European films.

A special award, the Princess Dialta Alliata di Montereal Award for Best Film will be decided by the EuroCinema Hawaii 2010 Jury. European films are also eligible for Hawaii International Film Festival Awards.

A separate cash prize for Best EuroCinema Hawaii 2010 Student Film Award for submissions from the state of Hawaii and Europe by qualified students will also be awarded by the EuroCinema Hawaii 2010 Jury. Shorts, documentaries, and features by student filmmakers will be considered.

All HIFF rules, regulations and fees for submissions apply for EuroCinema Hawaii submissions.
