Tuesday's highlights

Among the 16 films that we're showing today at Dole, there are several to look out for. The only showing of Finishing the Game is tonight, Justin Lin's comedic "faux documentary" about a group of Bruce Lee wannabes as they audition to become the next big kung-fu film star.

This evening is the USA premiere of The Drummer, a film about a young Hong Kong rebel who finds inner peace and purpose with a group of Zen musicians in the hills of Taiwan. It's also in the running for the Halekulani Orchid for Best Feature.

If Taiwanese drumming isn't your style, then put on some nice clothes and head out to Next Door in Chinatown. From 8-9pm we're showing around 20 music videos from all over the world. After that, head literally next door to our official festival watering hole, thirtyninehotel. You might see actors, directors or producers there that are guests of our festival.

Also, today is the last day for Oceanic Time Warner Digital subscribers to vote for the Viewers Choice Award on NGN On-Demand Channel 680.
