Ravi (Karan Soni) and Rita (Geraldine Viswanathan) meet on a date arranged by their Indian parents. He imagines his future wife as someone traditional, wholesome and definitely vegetarian. She can’t imagine anything worse, but has to keep up the ruse to please her conservative mother. When a shelter in place order forces them to quarantine together until the situation calms down, the pair have to confront parts of each other – and themselves – that they had previously kept hidden, and to learn what it means to care for one another when the world is turned upside down.
