FILM AND CREATIVE SUPPORT
The ʻUluʻulu Henry K Guigni Moving Image Archive of Hawai’i is Hawaiʻi’s official state archive for moving images. Located at UH West Oahu, ‘Ulu’ulu aims to perpetuate and share the rich moving image heritage of Hawaiʻi through the preservation of film and videotape related to the history and culture of Native Hawaiians and the people of Hawaiʻi.
HIFF has partnered with ‘Ulu’ulu for over a decade to present screenings and panels of archival film in conversation with contemporary issues facing our community.
Hawaiʻi’s comprehensive film and media higher education program across the state, the Academy for Creative Media (ACM) is at the forefront of cinematic arts in the Pacific. Programs and classes available at 10 campuses across Hawai’i.
HIFF partners with UH ACM to present the HIFFxACM Accelerator program, bringing guest filmmakers to ACM classes across the state, offering free passes for ACM students to HIFF screenings, and access to exclusive industry events and panels.
Creative Lab Hawai’i is a key facet of DBEDT’s HI Growth Initiative, developing an ecosystem to increase export, attract investment and build the state’s creative entrepreneurial capacity.

FILM PRODUCTION RESOURCES
Created by filmmaker Ava DuVernay and led by an all-women executive team, ARRAY Crew is a personnel database designed to connect below-the-line crew, with a special focus on the amplification of women, people of color and other underrepresented film and television professionals with studio executives, department heads and producers. ARRAY Crew is available in the United States and Canada.

FILM FESTIVALS AND EXHIBITION

Doris Duke Theatre is part of the Honolulu Museum of Art and regularly hosts film screenings and events. The theater is available for corporate and private rentals.
The Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival is run by The Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation whose mission is to educate and raise awareness of the community-at-large about gay & lesbian culture, arts, and lifestyle.
