AH GIRL
泡泡糖女孩
Singapore, 1994. At seven years old, spirited and outspoken Ah Girl is beginning to understand the adult world, even as its contradictions leave her increasingly bewildered. Her days should revolve around a schoolyard crush, friends, and her enterprising chewing gum business, but instead she finds herself caring for her five-year-old sister while navigating the ongoing battle between their separated parents. Preoccupied with new relationships and their own frustrations, the adults shuttle the sisters between households, leaving Ah Girl to make sense of circumstances far beyond her years.
