SHADOW WORK

After escaping an abusive husband, Noriko (Riho Yoshioka) finds refuge in “Ouchi” (“The Home”), a secluded shelter where women fleeing domestic and familial violence seek safety and a chance to rebuild their lives. Supported by a community of survivors, she slowly begins to recover a sense of dignity and belonging. Yet beneath Ouchi’s calm and protective atmosphere, Noriko becomes aware of unsettling inconsistencies that hint at a darker hidden truth.
