Festival Planner — Help
🎬 How do I find films?
Use the Browse Films tab to scroll through the full lineup. Filter by day using the day buttons, or type in the search box to find a specific title, director, or country.
➕ How do I add a film to my schedule?
Click any film card to see its showtimes. Click + Add next to the showtime you want. It will turn green and appear in your My Schedule tab.
💾 How do I save my schedule?
Enter your email address in the bar below the tabs and click 💾 Save. Your schedule is saved to the cloud so you can access it from any device.
📂 How do I load my schedule on another device?
Enter the same email address and click 📂 Load. Your saved schedule will be restored automatically.
🎟 My purchased tickets showed up automatically — why?
When you click Load, we check your email against your HIFF ticket purchases. Any tickets you've already bought are automatically added to your schedule so you never lose track of them.
⚠ What does the conflict warning mean?
A conflict means two screenings in your schedule overlap in time. The planner highlights them so you can decide which one to keep. Click Remove on the one you want to drop.
📅 How do I export to my calendar?
Go to My Schedule and click Export to Calendar (.ics). This downloads a file you can open with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook — with venue, runtime, and film details included.
📅 What is the Schedule Grid?
The Schedule Grid tab shows a TV guide-style view of the day — theaters as columns, time running vertically. Each film block is proportional to its runtime so you can see gaps and plan your day at a glance. Click any block to open the film details.
