HIFF45, Shot on Film: A Photo Essay

In the fall of 2025, rolls of film were dedicated to documenting the people, places, and moments at the 45th Hawai‘i International Film Festival. The resulting images contribute to HIFF’s archive, creating a visual record of the festival and the people and places that shaped it.

Mahalo to Treehouse Photo Lab for generously supporting this project with 35mm film and scans. A special thank-you to the filmmakers/photographers who joined in this analog project.
