• You can sign-in using the “SIGN IN” function in the website header.
• Be sure to use the email address that you registered with.
• If you’ve forgotten your password, you will be prompted to reset it. 

Passes are a great way to gain access to HIFF screenings and events. In order to use the pass, you must activate it through pass fulfillment on the HIFF website. You must sign in to your HIFF account and follow the instructions below. Once your pass is “fulfilled”, you can add tickets to it for access through the Pass Holder line inside the theater. 

• The only pass that doesn’t require fulfillment is the Platinum Pass. All other Passes and Packages must be fulfilled before tickets can be added.

Once you have fulfilled the pass/package using the instructions above, proceed to the following steps:

1. Sign-in to your HIFF account and browse the Film Program
2. Add TICKETS to your cart on each film event page
3. When you have picked all the tickets you want, complete your check-out
4. Receive a confirmation of your order and receipt via e-mail

AT THEATER SCREENINGS

1. 🎟️ Present your mobile or e-ticket to the ticket scanners at the theater doors.
2. 🍿Buy Popcorn and enjoy!

Tickets for HIFF45 will be available for purchase on the following tentative dates:

1. Members and Pass holders: Friday, September 19, 2025
2. General ticket sales: Monday, September 22, 2025

Premium events are a higher value experience and might include VIP guests, or Gala films, like: Opening Night Film, Centerpiece Film, Closing Night Film, etc. The ticket price for these experiences are $20 ($17 for HIFF Members)

Access to all film screenings, panels and in-theater events (not including HIFILM), choose your films in advance by adding them to your account via the HIFF website. 

• Access to all screenings, panels and select festival events (not including HIFILM)
• No RSVP or tickets required to attend – your badge will provide access via the Pass Holder Line
• Advance RSVP IS required for reserved seating. Instructions for this will be communicated to you directly, or you can email Seat Reserves for info

• A Weekend Pass allows you to add tickets for all regular screenings on Saturday and Sunday only.
• You will need to fulfill the pass before adding tickets to your account on the HIFF website. 
• Tickets must be added to your account via the HIFF website before attending
• The QR code on your badge will be scanned at the door
• Certain “premiere” screenings may not be eligible

• A Matinee Pass allows you to add tickets for all regular screenings that occur on weekdays before 4:30 PM only.
• Matinée Screenings are generally cheaper than evenings and weekends.
• You will need to fulfill the pass before adding tickets to your account on the HIFF website. 
• Tickets must be added to your account via the HIFF website before attending
• The QR code on your badge will be scanned at the door
• Certain “premiere” screenings may not be eligible
