SHÅGUN – AN EVENING WITH CO-CREATORS JUSTIN MARKS & RACHEL KONDO
An original adaptation of James Clavellâs novel, FXâs "ShÅgun" is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village.
The first episode of the critically praised, highly rated prestige series (racking an unprecedented 25 Emmy Award nominations including Outstanding Drama Series) will be screened, and will include a Q&A with festival guests and the dramaâs co-creators, executive producers and writers Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo.
