SON OF LONO (1972)

From George Tahara''s Hawaiian Legends series, SON OF LONO tells the story of a cabin boy, who arrived aboard Captain Cook''s ship in 1779. He is befriended by a young medical kahuna and introduced to Hawaiian medicine, food beliefs, a volcanic eruption, a lava tube passage, and a city of refuge.
