THE OPENING ADDRESS

The Opening Address brings to life the Ohen:ton Karihwatehkwen, the traditional Thanksgiving Address of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Spoken in the Mohawk language and created in collaboration with the Akwesasne Mohawk community, the film honors a sacred expression of gratitude to the natural world, inviting audiences to pause, reflect, and remember our shared responsibilities to the land, waters, winds, and all living beings.
