INFORMATION

Below are instructions to access and redeem Extras Codes for both Sponsor 10 Pack Passes & Sponsor Vouchers. SPONSOR 10 PACK PASS

A Sponsor 10 Pack Pass contains Ten (10) EXTRAS Codes that are redeemable for Ten (10) Online Screenings.

SPONSOR VOUCHER

A Sponsor Voucher is One (1) EXTRAS Code that is redeemable for One (1) Online Screening.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPONSOR 10 PACK PASS

TO ACCESS YOUR SPONSOR 10 PACK PASSES IN YOUR GOELEVENT ACCOUNT

• Check for an email with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – Hawaii International Film Festival”. (You may also want to check your Spam folder if it ended up in there)

• Below the Aloha message, you will see an area called EXTRAS with the text “2020 Sponsor 10 Pack” with a link. Click GET CODES.

• A new window will open up to GoElevent where you will need to log into your GoElevent account. (If you’re new to GoElevent you will be prompted to create an account) IMPORTANT: When registering, please remember to use the email the Order Confirmation was sent to as your codes are linked to that email address.

• You should now be in your EXTRAS page, where on the left you should see “2020 Sponsor 10 Pack” (Possibly with your other Extras Codes)

   

  (If you are not in your EXTRAS page, on the top right corner, hover over your NAME and click ACCOUNT from the drop down menu. Once you are on the ACCOUNT page, on the left side menu, click YOUR EXTRAS)

• For the respective Pass, click VIEW CODES.

• A pop up window should appear, with a (10) 14 digit codes. A Sponsor 10 Pack Pass is good for 10 online screenings. Each code can be used to redeem 1 online screening. Once a code is redeemed, the word “AVAILABLE” will change to “REDEEMED”

TO REDEEM SPONSOR 10 PACK PASS EXTRAS CODES TO WATCH FILMS ONLINE

• Go to https://www.goelevent.com/HawaiiFilmFest/e/Search to browse our selection of virtual screenings

• Find your desired film and select GET TICKETS.

• Use the arrow to indicate you want to add one (1) ONLINE SCREENING of the film and click ADD TO CART.
• The film should now appear in your cart at regular price for the moment.

• You may either go to Checkout or go back to our films listing to add more films to your Cart.

• Once you have added the films you want to view and are ready to complete your order, click the green CHECKOUT button (There will be an option to Donate to HIFF)
  (If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in with your GoElevent account or Create a new account.)

• Add your code(s) into the EXTRAS field and click APPLY. If you have multiple films in your cart, please apply the respective number of active Extras Codes from your 10-Pack. (Example: 2 Films requires 2 separate Extras Codes)

• NOTE: Your Extras Code will NOT work in the “Discount Code” box.

• Once you have applied your Extras Code(s), your cart should reflect a $0.00 purchase. Click COMPLETE PURCHASE

• You will now see an Order Confirmation page with your Confirmation #.

• Also check for an email with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – Hawaii International Film Festival”. (You may also want to check your Spam folder just in case)

• Shortly before the festival starts on Nov 5, you should receive an access email from CineSend, our online streaming platform for HIFF. Follow their instructions on how access to your online CineSend account to view the films. In addition to watching films on watch.hiff.org, you can also download our HIFF app on Apple TV, ROKU TV,  and/or Amazon FireStick to view the films as well.

PLEASE NOTE: The festival dates are NOVEMBER 5 – 29.
Access to watch.hiff.org and our HIFF apps will only be active during those dates.
Due to streaming agreements, some films may have different dates of availability, maximum viewership caps, and geographical restrictions. Please refer to the program for more information.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPONSOR VOUCHERS

TO ACCESS SPONSOR VOUCHER EXTRAS CODE(S) IN YOUR GOELEVENT ACCOUNT

• Check for an email with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – Hawaii International Film Festival”. (You may also want to check your Spam folder if it ended up in there)

• Below the Aloha message, you will see an area called EXTRAS with the text “2020 SPONSOR VOUCHER FOR ONLINE SCREENING” with a link – “Get Codes”. Click Get Codes.
• Note: If you have multiple Screening Vouchers, you can access ALL the codes and see which are active or redeemed when you are in your GoElevent account.

• A new window will open up to GoElevent where you will need to log into your GoElevent account. (If you’re new to GoElevent you will be prompted to create an account) IMPORTANT: When registering, please remember to use the email the Order Confirmation was sent to as your codes are linked to that email address.

• You should now be in your EXTRAS page, where on the left you should see “2020 SPONSOR VOUCHER FOR ONLINE SCREENING” (Possibly with your other Extras Codes)
  (If you are not in your EXTRAS page, on the top right corner, hover over your name and click ACCOUNT from the drop down menu. Once you are on the ACCOUNT page, on the left side menu, click YOUR EXTRAS)

• For the respective Voucher, click VIEW CODES.

• • A pop up window should appear, with a single 14 digit code. That is the Extras Code that can to be redeemed to watch 1 virtual film during the Fall Festival.

 

• • If a Extras Code has not been redeemed, you should see “AVAILABLE” next to the respective code. If it has been redeemed, it will say “REDEEMED” in yellow.

 

• Note: If you have multiple Screening Vouchers, you can access ALL the codes and see which are active or redeemed when you are in your account.

TO REDEEM A SPONSOR VOUCHER EXTRAS CODE TO WATCH A FILM ONLINE

• Go to https://www.goelevent.com/HawaiiFilmFest/e/Search

• Browse our film selection and choose the respective film you would like to watch by clicking GET TICKETS

• Select your quantity of tickets and click ADD TO CART. The ticket will be regular priced for the time being.

• When ready, click the green CHECKOUT button (There will be an option to Donate to HIFF)

• If you have a Go Elevent Account, you may Login here. If not, you may create one during checkout by creating a password (optional).

• Add your Sponsor Voucher Extras Code into the EXTRAS field and click APPLY. Your ticket will now be $0.00.

• Click COMPLETE PURCHASE

• You will land on a Order Confirmation page and also receive an email with the subject line: “Order Confirmation # – Hawaii International Film Festival”. (You may also want to check your Spam folder if it ended up in there)

• IF REDEEMING BEFORE NOVEMBER 5th: You are all set and just sit tight as the CineSend platform is not live yet. Shortly before the festival starts on Nov 5, you will receive an email from GoElevent to move forward with your “Virtual Access” of the film.

• IF REDEEMING DURING FALL FESTIVAL, NOV 5 – 29: You will receive an email from GoElevent to move forward with your “Virtual Access” of the film.
