V/H/S/BEYOND
Halloween comes early as the festival screens the latest entry in the popular horror anthology franchise, this time taking place in a sci-fi inspired hellscape. This seventh installment of the cult V/H/S film series contains six stories: ''Stork'' by Jordan Downey, ''Fur Babies'' by Christian and Justin Long, ''Live and Let Dive'' by Justin Martinez, ''Dream Girl'' by Virat Pal, and ''Stowaway'' by actress-turned-director Kate Siegel, the star of Netflix’s THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER–with writing duties by USHER showrunner and Siegel’s husband Mike Flanagan–as well as a ''special presentation'' by Jay Cheel.
HIFF is excited to present this HIFF EXTREME special screening on the Opening Night of the Festival in advance of the anthology’s release. Horror fans, come see it first!
