Celebrating the work of young filmmakers in Hawai’i, this shorts program touches on the Gen Alpha and Gen Z experience. Enjoy original short films by the next generation of Hawai’i talent featuring a fresh mix of new voices. All films qualify for the inaugural ‘Ōpio Fest Best Student Short Award.

Rush/Standby tickets are offered when a screening or event is sold out. The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time.
