The 41st Hawai‘i International Film Festival presented by Halekulani (#HIFF41) will also be heading to Maui, Kauai and Hawai‘i Island in Hilo from November 18-21. Over 25 films will be screening on three different islands, ranging from awards-worthy films from auteurs like Jane Campion (THE POWER OF THE DOG) and Ryûsuke Hamaguchi (DRIVE MY CAR), to encores of the Festival’s Opening, Centerpiece and Closing Galas–WATERMAN, I WAS A SIMPLE MAN and BELLE–and the directorial debut of actor Dante Basco (THE DEBUT, HOOK, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER), directing his entire family in the FilAm rom-com THE FABULOUS FILIPINO BROTHERS. There are also major films from South Korea, Japan, Australia and premieres from local filmmakers in the MADE IN HAWAI‘I programs.
Tickets are on sale now, but will also be available day-of at their respective theater’s box-office.
