Jay, an immature and rap-obsessed young adult works a monotonous job at Katsu Kingdom, a fast-food curry restaurant. Although Jay finds his work to be lackluster, he is infatuated with his coworker, Gray. After discovering a freestyle rap duos tournament called the Rap Royale, Jay sees the tournament as a way to gain fame and impress his coworker.
